Kennedy Bridge (Triborough Bridge) which spanned the Harlem River, the Bronx Kill, and the Hell Gate. The bridge connects Manhattan, Queens and the Bronx. The construction of the bridge actually began on Black Friday in 1929, and and so building was halted in order to simplify the original lay out.
