Subramaniam
A titanic live performance resurrected on vinyl - raw
presented possibly with enough abstraction that listeners will see something of themselves
which has it's roots in a form of Americana but is expanded via classical and post-classical forms and the influence of iconic composers such as Ennio Morricone and Henry Mancini
weaving through time and circumstance with joy and abandon
Natasha Pirard * Fernande, Cecile [New LP] Latin Subramaniam'Natasha Pirard returns with her most personal project yet, dedicated to her mother and late grandmother, whose care shaped her life. 'Fernande, Cecile' is a photobook of songs, weaving voice, field recordings, synthesizer, and violin into an ode to her matrilineal line. Pirard lost her grandmother at seven, yet Fernande's warmth stayed with her as a touchstone. Her mother, Cecile, has been a constant presence, guiding her through difficult years.
