Traditional style, and granite stone, which has lovely smooth black grey tone and no matrix, clearly has been worn smooth. 3 5 8" outer diameter x 2 3 4" inner diameter. One of a kind piece! From Djenn, Mali. Made and worn by the Dogon Tribal People. Estimated 800 1,000 years old. Beautiful object, and doesn't have to be worn. Could fit a larger hand.
