These are gorgeous bluish, glowing opalescent milky opal glass beads. Dutch beads and from the 1700s which were traded in West Africa (highly prized and treasured by the Dogon people of Mali). This strand came from Nigeria. Beads vary slightly in size, but are approximately 8 12mm thick x 12 14mm diameter with 2 3mm holes.
