This is an incredible rare vintage 1930 1939 Swiss made mechanical mens wrist watch by Valdor. However, the incredible part is the custom made embroidered leather wrist band in which it rests. The wrist band is reads DAK (Deutsches Afrikakorps) and bears a Palm tree with Swas. While researching this watch band we found photos of a nearly identical one in the book Jagdwaffe: The Mediterranean 1942 1943, Vol. 4
