This is a stunning officers walking cane with a carved bone handle depicting a Skull, with a silver band connecting the handle & shaft which is engraved OR GLORY, indicating the DEATH OR GLORY motto of the 17th Royal Lancers. The Silver band was hallmarked by George Loveridge and Co with a likely date of 1912 given the hallmarks, putting it in the WWI Era. The cane measures about 36 long and has had a rubber stopper put
