This heavy plate with a beautiful aqua green glaze and incised design of three whales circling around a triple spiral at its center was made in a limited edition by the United States Quarry Tile Company in conjunction with the Romany Spartan Ceramics Company in the 1950's

It for sure feels that old, with a nice patina to the dark wood, super smooth from age and wear. With little loops carved on either end, it would be a nice one to wear as a pendant, or to just hang from a nail or hook on the wall. 3 7 8" long x 15 16 wide and deep.
