and those fantastic black dots that vary a bit in size from side to side and sometime come right up against the edges

the whole piece feels surrealistic--an unusual and compelling object and great addition to any collection of mid-century or contemporary ceramics

Eskimo Art at the Artisans, Newbury Street 1970s Poster Winfield pottry At the center of theThis striking poster dates to the earlyish 1970s I believe, from an exhibition of "Eskimo Art" at the Artisans, a shop and gallery at 165 Newbury Street in Boston's Back Bay, which may, but I am not certain, have had an affiliation with the Society of Arts and Crafts, the address of which I believe was 175 Newbury Street at the time. While there is a bit of damage on the bottom edge, I think it's just a stunning thing that I think I would never tire
