This is a really great example of an Indian Wars era bugle manufactured by the firm Lyon & Healy of Chicago, Illinois. This was a well known firm that produced bugles during the Civil War, Indian Wars, and beyond. The company is still active today as Lyon & Healy Harps. The bugle still retains a period red scarlett Artillery cord denoting the branch of service. There is fraying and material loss on the knots, but the
