which makes its back stand up straight (and perhaps it once made a squeak

with more darkening to the white paint on one side than the other

with just one hole in at at the arrow end

most of the time the design appears as gestural abstract forms

Very Old Hand-Carved Arm with Stigmata lenticular lenses and a fun one toI have to think this was once attached to a very old carved Christ figure, due to the stigmata piercing the palm of the hand. It feels pretty ancient, and beautiful I think for quite the patina it has acquired, including a little loss to a couple of the fingers. Quite an evocative thing. 10 inches long x 2 3 8" wide x 1 1 4" d. Much aged over at least a couple hundred years I'd think, all to the good, and not fragile.
