and so a very tender feeling portrait of connection that also foreshadows separation

The slate itself will slide a bit when the cards are removed and the whole thing is just a little wobbly

A quick search turns up a bunch about the Colby family and Colby farm, a successful family farm that included cornfields and grazing fields for their livestock, and a historic farmhouse (now restored and known as the Cyrus Colby Farmhouse) dating to 1826.
