made with real slate that retains a sense of many many years of school lessons performed across its surface--and I believe this is an especially old one (19th c I think)

Large Antique Beveled Glass Wood Framed Hand Mirror gift for the hunter Very 1980s New YorkThis the a really lovely old beveled glass hand mirror (often described as Shaker). The warm, natural hardwood frame is in more of less perfect condition, and compared to most of these one finds, the mirror is in very good shape too as shown in detail photos. Late 19th or very early 20th century I believe. Really a lovely one for the vanity, or wrap a ribbon around the handle and hang it from the wall. 13 1 8" long x 7 1 2" wide x 1 2" thick.
