This is a very nice German P 38 holster from WWII, and is a standard soft shell "break away" design in brown leather. The holster is complete and fully functional, with the original black finish still present, though it looks to originally have been brown. This indicates it was most likely used by "Rural" Police in Germany, who had brown leather trim on their Tschako's and other equipment. There were also some
