Painterly Spring Flowers in Blue Vase, Charming Large Oil on Canvas Still Life, c. 2nd Quarter 20th Century drill bits box but I loved the lookThis one is a hundred times better than photos convey the ground a somewhat darker, richer gray, and the thick impasto on the flowers lending a real physicality to the surface and terrific sense of presence to the whole painting, which also shows nice craquelure. This made me feel cheerful in a very welcome way when I found it but while charming it does not feel at all saccharine; more like a moody spring day. 20" x 24" and in very good condition,
