Japanese Vintage Uchiwa Fan, Presumed by Keisuke Serizawa boston 5” in diameter x 1”I'm always on the lookout for beautiful vintage Japanese fans, and this is really a striking one. I am fairly certain it is the work of Keisuke Serizawa (1895 1984), a Japanese textile designer (and National Treasure) renowned for his stencil patterns and dying techniques applied to the creation of kimono, paper prints, wall scrolls, folding screens, curtains, calendars, and fans like this one. These Keisuke Serizawa fans have become fairly rare to
