1920s or so I believe

All of the drawings remind me very much of paper soldiers I've found--made by mounting cutout drawings to bits of wood or cardboard such that they will stand up--though the ground under the feet of this guy suggests he was only ever drawn to live inside a ledger

Bulgarian Troyan Style Folk Art Pottery Plate with Winged Woman in Blue curious box I must say I findOh, I really could not love this girl or woman more, with what look like two large orange wings behind her, and perhaps a hat in hand, but which could be a package she is about to fly away to deliver! Pretty curious, this very of this world looking angel, created by a Diana, who signed the plate on the back. I would guess based on the distinctive, traditional Troyan style of glazing around the lip that it vintage Bulgarian, though I've never seen
