While there are a fair number of stitches missing
I myself might be inclined to use it as a vase rather than a watering can (or simply to put it on a shelf to display as an object) but the handle on the back certainly makes it functional for watering the plants
and one that I think would be terrific in a farmhouse style kitchen with worn butcher block countertops
I believe this birdcage dates from the 1930s or so

I've been long admiring old ivory dominoes, but I must say I like these even better, with creamy white painted tin faces inlaid over ebony wood, and gorgeously irregular they really look like a painting! The back sides, featuring a hunting dog in slight relief, are pretty great too. I believe these date to the 1920 30s, and they come in their original box, which features very faint text on the underside
