This is a great 1930s era Army Air Corps uniform identified to Lieutenant Colonel (then Lieutenant) Rudolph H. Ziehm. The uniform has a gorgeous set of Sterling pilots wings as well as distinguished unit insignia for the 3rd Air Base Squadron on both shoulder boards. The uniform jacket has the Army Air Corps pinwheel patch, which was used from 20 July 1937 19 March 1942. It bears 2nd Lieutenants bars and DI insignia on
