and the number 55631 written in pencil in the upper left corner

It is in excellent condition and measures 6" tall x 3 3/8" in diameter

and making me wonder if perhaps this embroidery paid homage to the loss of a beloved pet

I believe and surely made by a school girl, or perhaps a teacher given the manual dexterity required! 2" t x 1 13 16" w, good condition, no losses, a bit of toning as evident.
