Germany, Third Reich. A Trench Art Desk Eagle United Republic of Cross for the Rhine and(Tischadler). A unique trench art desk eagle, constructed of multiple pieces of brass and bronze. It consists of a multi piece German national eagle featuring a bronze body with a copper hue, riveted with a pair of wings constructed of brass with etched feathering throughout the obverse. The eagle is situated on top of a circular brass oak leaf wreath, inset with a mirrored centrepiece. The latter is in turn overlaid by a blackened swastika. It is
