Germany, SS. A Waffen-SS Visor Cap Totenkopf Insignia, Late-War Integral Prong Variant, by F.W. Assmann & Söhne Hold chipping evident in the red(Waffen SS Totenkopf fr die Schirmmtze). Constructed of zink, the obverse consisting of a second pattern SS style Totenkopf, the reverse retaining all three integral prongs which emanate from the edge of the insignia, unmarked but demonstrating the characteristics of a late war variant produced by F. W. Assmann & Shne, Ldenscheid, measuring 30. 48 mm (w) x 29. 13 mm (h), weighing 3. 5 grams, in extremely fine condition.
