Württemberg, Kingdom. A Wilhelm Cross, II Class with Swords Archive above a name and title(Wilhelmskreuz mit Schwerter fr Kriegsverdienst). Instituted 13 September 1915 by King Wilhelm II. (1915 1918 issue). Constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, consisting of a Cross Patte with pebbled arms and with crossed swords piercing the centrepiece, the obverse bearing a central raised monogram of King Wilhelm II, situated within a circular oak leaf wreath, the six oclock arm bearing an institution date of
