Constructed of silvered bronze with multi coloured enamels, the obverse consisting of a red enameled ring, overlaid by a DLV insignia consisting of a pair of wings joined in the centre by a propellers, in turn bearing a black enameled mobile swastika, the reverse with both attachment prongs intact, maker marked WILH.
