Germany, Heer. A Narvik Shield United Republic of A group of 15 greeting(Narvikschild). Constructed of silvered zink, the obverse consisting of a shield bearing a raised propeller, anchor, and edelweiss, symbolizing the Luftwaffe, Kriegsmarine, and Heer (Gebirgsjger), respectively, topped by an inscription of NARVIK and a German national eagle perched on top of a wreathed swastika, affixed with three reverse attachment prongs to a magnetic metal backplate with a field grey wool liner indicating Heer issue, unmarked, the
