Constructed of silver with black enamels, the obverse consisting of a black enameled disc, bearing a silvered date of 1922 topped by oak leaves and a raised Stahlhelm insignia, the reverse with a crimped barrel hinge and banjo style pinback meeting a round wire catch, bearing an etched membership code and date of 15. 3. 1922, with a silver content number of 935, maker marked with the logo of Der Stahlhof,
