In pickled brass, voided, measuring 36. 2 mm (w) x 43 mm (h), both lugs intact, scattered wear in the pickled finish, giving it a reddish appearance, near extremely fine. Footnote: The Battalion was raised in the Medicine Hat district of Alberta with mobilization headquarters at Medicine Hat under the authority of G. O. 69, July 15, 1916.
